Setting priorities & goals in homeschooling can actually provide freedom. When you know where you’re headed and where your focus should be, you don’t need to worry. You don’t need to compare yourself to your friend’s homeschool. You don’t need to feel trapped by specific curriculum. Choose your goals wisely this year and you will be rewarded in the end.
One of my goals is to give our kids a good Biblical foundation & critical thinking skills so they could move forward. I want a Biblical perspective in all areas of what we do (academics, sports, friends, home life). Whatever we teach should come from a Biblical perspective. In science, we obviously start with creation. In math, we discover the orderliness of how God works.
